GDS_Extents is a utility program that computes the extents and coordinates of cells and their placements. This can be useful when you are more concerned about where a cell is located than you are about what is contained inside the cell.

Output can be either an ASCII coordinate file or a GDSII File where the cell's contents have been replaced with an outline of the cell's extents.
