If you have problems running our software, please contact us. We also encourage your suggestions for new features.

• Gather the relevant files together (mask files, dxf, gerber, aperture list etc...)
  
  
• Create a readme.txt file identifying yourself, your phone, fax number and a description of the problem. Files sent to us without a readme.doc associated with them are deleted!
  
  
• Compress the files into a single zip file using pkzip (currently version 2.04g). If you are worried about privacy or security you can use a password and send us the password separately. UNIX users can use zip or gzip or compress (.Z)/tar (such as problem.tar.Z). We have a freeware version of ZIP available for download.
  
  
• Never send us a self extracting ZIP or LZH ending in .exe. Too much risk of a virus.
  
  
• ftp the file to us.

We compress files on our ftp site using the ZIP protocol. If you are running DOS or Windows, PKZIP or equivalent will unpack these files. UNIX users can download from us a freeware version of zip that supports file encryption. (Don't worry not the strong stuff that will have the NSA breathing down your back!)

Warning! -when downloading a UNIX zip file never use DOS or Windows ZIP to unzip it! While they will unzip the data correctly they will mess up the filenames because they do not properly distiguish between upper and lower case letters (Yes, even on Windows 95/NT!). The UNIX install scripts will fail. Take the trouble to first download the zip for UNIX.
